Township a Sunshine-y place to work

The 2025 so-called “Sunshine List’’ is out, and according to it, the number of Uxbridge Township employees on the list (which is information on all public sector employees who were paid $100,000 or more in 2025, available at ontario.ca) has surpassed the 20 mark. There were 17 township employees named on the list in 2024: there are 21 on the 2025 list.
Chief Administrative Officer Kristi Honey reportedly earned $199,886 in 2025. The second highest paid township employe was treasurer Tobi Lee with an income of $174,638.
Fire chief Mike Macdonald and community services director Amanda Ferraro were next, with each one bringing in $173,072, while township clerk Debbie Leroux was at $171,506. Bylaw chief Hilary Williams and public works director Courtney Clarke both earned $162,159, while Bill Rynard, also of public works, made $141,522.
Others on the list were: deputy clerk Emily Elliott - $135,165; chief building official Michael Close - $134,545; chief planning official Cody Morrison - $131,160; public works employee David Magee - $126,490; chief librarian Corrinne Morrison - $123,831; program manager Lara Perroni - $121,632; public works employee Kirk Buchanan - $111,350.
At the lower end of the scale were six other employees, who made slightly more than the $100,000 target: Caroline Clemenson, Colleen Baskin, Susan Straughan, Jamie Miller, Ken Maynard and Jake Locke.
