The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) issued an alert on social media platform ‘X’ Monday, saying they are investigating after sewing needles were located in Halloween candy in Oshawa. Police remind parents and caregivers to Please check all Halloween candy carefully before eating it and report anything suspicious to police at 905-579-1520.
Sewing needles were also found in Halloween treats in Toronto, Guelph and Kitchener.
