Single car rollover injures one man

Last Friday afternoon, police responded to a single vehicle rollover in the area of Uxbridge Concession 3 just north of the Uxbridge-Pickering Townline.

According to a Durham Regional Police Services (DRPS) report, a loaded Freightliner truck was traveling southbound on Uxbridge Conc. 3, when it entered into the soft shoulder. The driver attempted to steer the truck out of the ditch; however, the weighted load caused the truck to roll onto its side.

A 68-year-old male was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
