A win is always a good way to prepare for the regular season and the Uxbridge Bruins did just that on Sunday with a 5-4 victory over the Midland Flyers in an exhibition game at the Stouffville arena.
The Bruins meet the Flyers again this coming Sunday in Midland at 2 p.m. before facing the Clarington Eagles for two games. The first will be at the Stouffville arena on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and the second will be in Clarington on Aug. 28 at 7:25 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Bruins continued their training camp at the Stouffville arena with all aspiring Bruins invited to take part at no charge. The sessions began last Thursday, with the final session scheduled for tonight (Thursday) at 7:30 p.m.
No dates have been set yet for the start of the 2025-26 season, which will see Dan West returning behind the bench as head coach.
