Single car crash injures two

Two people suffered serious injuries following a single vehicle collision in Uxbridge.

In the early morning hours of Wed., May 6, members of North Division responded to a single vehicle collision in the area of Allbright Road and Conc. 6.

‍ ‍According to a police report, a 26-year-old male was driving a Porsche SUV eastbound on Allbright Road when it left the roadway and landed in the woods. Both the driver and the 24-year-old female passenger were able to exit the vehicle before it caught fire. They were transported to a local area hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. The driver has since been released from hospital. The female was transferred to a Toronto-area trauma centre at the time of the incident.
