Poppy campaign helps hospital

The Uxbridge Legion’s annual Poppy Campaign recently donated $35,000 to the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation. These funds are earmarked to support the purchase of an Automated Dispensing Unit (ADU) for the Uxbridge Hospital.

“This gift reflects how local donations to the Poppy Campaign stay in Uxbridge, strengthening the care our hospital provides to veterans and all patients,” notes the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation. “The ADU will enhance medication safety and efficiency, ensuring that our healthcare team can continue to deliver exceptional care to those who have served and to every member of our community.”

This year’s poppy campaign begins on Oct. 31.
