More road closures set for Zephyr Rd.

Zephyr Road already has other ongoing road and bridge works between Concession 3 and Concession 7 (Regional Road 1). And according to a news release from the Region, “drivers should expect delays and plan for extra time when using Zephyr Road.”

Beginning Monday, June 1, there will be lane restrictions in place through to July 31, so that work can be done to safely rehabilitate the road. (Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.)

According to the Region, lane restrictions will be in place on Zephyr Road from 30 metres east of Concession 4 to 350 metres west of Concession 5, and from 350 metres west of Concession 6 to 30 metres west of Concession 7 in Uxbridge.

The Region says it “realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.”
