Council hears spooky October event proposal

Another proposal met with a positive response from councillors when Eric Hagman of Tall Trees Events sought permission to hold a Hallowe'en event for the last two-and-a-half weeks of October.

Hagman said the Feargrounds Haunted Event would be held on the Tribbling Farm on Conc. 6 on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Hagman said the event was held in 2023 and at that time about 2,000 visitors attended. He said to avoid traffic tie-ups, attendees would be given times to enter the grounds. Entrance would be restricted to those 12 and over. He said a large number of local residents would be hired as actors for the event. Council approved the request.
