Planner recommends no servicing for Bridgebrook development

Uxbridge's planning consultant Elizabeth Howson provided council with a lengthy report Monday on wastewater and water servicing for the urban area, in which she recommended that no such servicing be allocated to the proposed Bridgebrook development north of Quaker Village.

Howson said the Township's Urban Area Servicing Allocation Policy has been in place since 2010 - with subsequent amendments - and was recently updated on March 24 after a lengthy review. She said that, based on an evaluation of the 2025 Allocation Policy, "the allocation of servicing capacity to the Bridgebrook Corporation . . . is not recommended at this time."

Her report said there is "insufficient capacity currently for the full Bridgebrook development."

Howson recommended that council decide that no servicing allocation is reserved this year for draft plan of subdivision approvals and, in particular, no reservation of allocation is provided this year to Bridgebrook Corporation.
